Cristiano Ronaldo asks for shock Premier league return – but not to Man Utd

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told his agent which club he wants to join next – and it is not Manchester United.

According to Don Balon, the Portugal star has ‘dropped the bombshell’ and told president Florentino Perez that he wants to leave Real Madrid.

The report claims that Cristiano no longer feels valued by the club and wants the club to accept his wish and facilitate his exit next summer.

The former Manchester United winger is reportedly eyeing a return to the Premier League, but knows his old club cannot afford to bring him back.

Therefore, he has allegedly asked agent Jorge Mendes to find him another English club such as Chelsea.

The Spanish outlet believes that his second choice would be the Stamford Bridge outfit, thus allowing the 32-year-old to live in London and continue fighting for titles.

Despite the backing of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, Chelsea are not as powerful economically as Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain, but Cristiano hopes to return to the Premier League as he has no intention of an MLS move.
