Alcohol is wrecking lives

  Overwhelmed by the drizzles on my way to work yesterday, I had to take cover in a shelter where a lady sells stuff, other individuals were there as well sheltering from the rain. The first thing I noticed was the mixed smell of food and the eerily breath of alcohol on the air waves. The steam of rice being served over on a plate and the gulping of dry gin to perhaps drive out cold from within. The wonky sound made by the guy standing beside me when I mistakenly stepped on his foot, I had to apologize immediately. Then, a voice from behind me saying: make all of us just die now,... Watching thunder lightening gave me the chills, as to what could go wrong. The guy said again, why God no just kill all of us now... Then he said: all of us na dead body... The other guy gleefully playing with the lady selling dry gin, calling her "mother". He was like: this my mother fresh o, why person no fit marry em mama?.. The other guys laughing in squabbles. Just think about the chattering...
